first glance i thought it was a kfx 700 cause of the plastics

 

1987 suzuki lt500r. The newer quadzilla's had smaller intake. Of course the new 450's will out handle and suck,and a yfz450 would absolutely murder a lt500 on an mx track. But for raw drag racing and top speed you cant be the 87 zilla'

 

Most guys dont know that the 87 had a diffrent cylinder, head,and reeds They had 6 bolts on the head

 

Orange is good. And yes the quad has an entirely stock engine, with the airbox lid removed and an FMF Q2 slip on exhaust being the only mods. I have gone up two steps on the pilot jet, one step on the needle, and use a 170 main jet. The race was at 1500 to 2000 ft elevation. Today I plan on switching to the YZ dirt bike needle, changing to a Boyeson Quick Shot accelerator pump cover on the carb, and doing the cam mod. Hopefully it will be at least as good as it was stock, LOL.

 

I agree with dreamMACHINE, if the predator le comes with a white brother's pipe it's not a stock machine.

now lets take it like this: equal riders on all machines and a pavement strip
1. zilla by a bit , they arnt rockets stock
2. banshee same as zilla not a rocket stock
3. i would say 250r and some 450s

on dirt since the banshee and zilla have killing powerr and the power band of the banshee is like dropping the clutch on a 4 stroke make traction a biotch so they would probably be alot slower

mod for mod zillas and banshees are tied and 4 strokes , who cares
