Default To a Banshee from a 250R?

Oh and for the record the z400 and the kfx 400 are the same bikes threw in and threw out. There just different colors and the kfx carries kawisakis name but we all no that it's made by suzuki. Any doubts look it up or look on the frame of the kfx. It will say suzuki right on it.

Did you buy that bike. I have a great 250R for sale. Of course I am way the hell in Washington. But it is ready to go all gone through. Ironically I am selling it to get a Banshee

Yeah Washington is about as far away as it gets from me in the USA. Though I was just out in Seattle two weeks ago. Had great weather and what a nice place.

I think I am going to go for a new quad when I do buy one.

Thanks

if your wanting banshee power ,id go yfz! i had a 96 shee and sold it,i really missed it. my buddies got me back into riding and i got a kfx400(z-400). i love it,alot of hop up for it and it loves the trails!!! but i was in the same boat as you ,wanted a nother 2-stroke. found a shee for $500,just needed a little work. couldnt let that go!!!
if i was you id go 4-stroke and look for a use 2-stroke. $6,500 for a new shee when you can get a used one for $3gs and put $1500 and have a sick one.
good luck and let use know what you got.

I do want to stay with a 2 stroke. We have a YFZ that I ride occasionally and I do like it but I just really still want a 2 stroke. I am so use to the powerband after riding an 250R for so many years. I am considering just what you said. I'd like to find a stock one (no engine work) so that I can tear it down and do all the fancy *#@* to it like powder coating and generally "blinging" it out plus do a port and polish and such on the motor. I am hoping to find an older one (since they have not changed anything since 87) for like 1500-2000K then tear it down and put about 3500-4000 back into it. I figure that would be the difference I would have spent on a brand new one except it will be exactly like I want it. I am hoping to get 5000K out of my 250R
