Raptor bog
#1
I just picked up my raptor last night. WOW!
I would like to thank all the people that have posted because it helped set my expectations. It does like to wheelie!!
The question is the bog from first to second, some times it just hesitates, other it would fall on it's face so hard I thought it was going to die. Is mine just too new and needs the 20 hours of break in? Is there something I can do?
Again thanks to all those that post.

My raptor did similiar to yours, except for the almost dieing part. I would suggest riding it some, mine cleared itself out. If not have dealer check needles in the carb's. If dealer wont fix it then adjust the needles yourself. Also make sure brake switch is not hanging up, this will bog motor right off idle. Good luck

nice machine ha,the bog is normal intil you break it in it will get better, its the steep 2nd gearing thats adds to this but the 12 42 front and rear sprockets help quite a bit plus if you run half 94.3 premium and cam 2 racing fuel you half to change your underware because it scares the he!! out of me. just to let you know 10 hrs is plenty to break-in, can't wait for other mods.
