Hey! I just wanted to let you know of a few things i have done to my quad that may help you. I just decided to write this post because i am amazed at the performance gains for my raptor 350. The first mods i ever bought were a k and n air filter and a 14 tooth front sprocket. Just with these 2 small adjustments there were major gains. I gained a little low end from the k and n and much smoother/ longer gears with my front sprocket. I recommend you get almost n e slip on you like, but spend the extra $170 and get the powerbomb header. I would suggest the header from btomotorsports.com THere are amazing gains from both of these purchases. Finally you need 2 more things a hot cam and a new set of rear tires. With all of these mods i can keep up with a stock 400 no problem! Also stock everyone complains that it is so hard to get the front end up. With these mods u can ride for miles in 3rd and 4th gear wheelies. Well this is my story, n e one have any better stories?

ooo yes but i mean i was riding 5th gear wheelies with a stock quad no problem...

btw your mods are really good however the header adds only about .75-1HP and MAYBE 1-2 ft lb of trq

I will have to agree that these additives will give you the power you want. What i love most about my raptor 350 is that it can keep up with the bigger machines, but also has that crazy low gearing for some sweet rock crawling.

My exhaust and filter was a good mod, but what what really gave me the best improvements for the money was actually the edelbrock carb. With the exhaust and airbox mod I could feel a little bit of a power gain, but with the edelbrock there was a real night and day difference with power, throttle response, and just how well the quad ran in general. I highly recommend the edelbrock carb once you have basic mods like a slip on exhuast and a good air filter.

DOES YOUR HOT CAM MAKE NOISE? I HAD ONE INSTALLED AT A REPUTABLE YAMAHA SHOP ON MY 350 AND IT SOUNDS LIKE EXCESS LASH NOISE BUT THEY SAID THAT WAS COMMON.
