Just brought home a 2006 YFZ

I just got back in from riding it around the property. OMG!! This is heaven! It really is totally different from the DS. You sit over the front tires rather than back like a chopper.
Okay, gotta go! I need to break this in over the next two weekends because the upcoming event.

I was just at a dealer today checking out their stock of YFZ's for a buddy of mine the salesperson (who I've known for a couple of years) told me this was very normal and to make sure I let my buddy know not to freak out when it happens. My buddy ended up getting a YFZ from another dealer today.
The dealers service tech. should be explaining this to anyone who gets this quad as I'd probably have freaked out if I'd seen it myself without knowing.
Doesn't this present a fire/major burning hazard? There isn't much between the right leg and that pipe and that tiny little guard isn't gonna do crap for a glowing pipe if you happen to touch it. Are there any aftermarket exhaust guards for this issue??
