350 Rappy on the road?
#1
I have a 350 Rappy and just was wondering what kind of negative effects, if any, will I see from making my quad legal to ride on the street? Asphalt tires I've got(23" a little taller for a little more top speed), signal lights I've got, license plate lights i've got... all I've gotta do is put it all on, figure out where to mount the turn signal switch and take it Albany to be certified. The only thing I'm questioning is the ability of my air cooled engine to handle 60 mph for about a 20-30 mile pop. I'm not gonna slap all this stuff on if my engine wont handle it... I'll have to buy a 660R, but I have reasons for liking the 350 better

It'll be fine. The faster you go, the more air moves over the motor and cools it off.
You're lucky that you don't have much to do to make it street legal. With pennsylvania's system the only time I can legally ride mine on the road is during a state of emergency/snow emergency. And wouldn't you know it, it's a snow emergency here for the first time this year and I just took the warrior to the shop for a rebuild/HC piston friday evening.
