There is no way a stock banshee goes 92 mph. My dad's YFZ doesn't even go 92 mph. Unless you have a HEAVILY modded banshee your not hitting 92 mph.

 

It is a banshee with a lectron engine. That bike wasn't nottin nice.

 

correct. no one was saying it would. according to the calculator, a stock raptor will. that wont never happen.

Hey, thats a nice looking quad you have, do those have the V-twin motor? Im wondering because im a new cat owner and went with the 650V2 and love it. Do you have alot of experience with the V-twin motors?

 

mine will do 104 mph withthe gearing that is on it now check it out.

I have a friend with a modded Raptor 450 drag quad that will do 90+ on 300 ft. asphalt drag strip... some of his mods include but are not limited to...

BIG bore kit
Pipes
Some kind of race carb
air shifter
extended swing arm that stores the compressed air (pretty trick)
strutted front end
Ported polished head with hand ground valves
hi comp piston
no reverse
NOS (do not know the shot size)

Quad has also been lightened quite a bit, and he weighs in at like 150 w/ his gear on... scary fast machine...

 

i'll tell you what 90 mph is good for...riding on the highway to get to the woods. that is about it. you have little to no control of a 90mph quad in anything but a straight line. though it is cool to say my quad can go 90, not very practical. this sequence of posts is hilarious though.

 

Now I never said it was practical. It is a drag quad, being just that... when it is not being shown at shows, it stays in the trailor unless he is testing or tuning. I will say this, it is a RUSH to ride. 90 in 300 feet impressed the hell out of me..., but I will bust his tale in the woods on my Wolverine...lol.

This is a funny thread like you said. Banshee this, Raptor that... it all comes down to this, speed costs money... now sir, how fast do you care to go?
