Having trouble finding it still. I lifted the fourwheeler to its side, dont see anything on the bottom near the footpeg or beside it? is it to the left of the footpeg or right or under it or over it, or is it somewhere else?

i would bring it down to your local bike/atv shop they sould have a good idea of what is goin on. i would have to say that the spot you pictured is where the vin should be, i would guess if you would order some parts just try them and if they don't fit return them and get diffrent ones untill it fits.

That looks like an early yfm200 thats been slightly mutilated. Try to find the engine number. It is stamped on the top of the case, near the back. The quad was definitly stolen at one point in time (possibly still stolen?). It's pretty obvious with a scratched out VIN and everything painted black so try to find the engine number. It looks like it was stolen by an ameteur, judging by the way they tried to cover it up so theres a good chance they forgot to scratch out the engine number. If the engine number is still there, write it down and try to find somebody that knows a cop or some type of official that can run numbers and have them run the engine number. If it comes back clean then you have nothing to worry about. Just re-paint your frame silver and use some solvent to take all the paint off the plastic and you'll have yourself a nice quad. But you're on your own if it's stolen.
