Very happy with it.

Check out my pics if you want to see this machine with a wheel and tire kit on it.
i have been snooping around the tire links - trying to figure out which way to go on tires & wheels - i got to get the winch installed one of these days - maybe next week - i've had a really bad cold - i rode the bike from the trailer to the garage - thats it - hope i feel like going out tomorrow for a couple of hours - t

whats the best shop manual out there for the Kodiak
I think you only have one choice, thatd be the yamaha factory service manual. I dont think clymer has one for the 05 and up model out yet. The clymer for the 03 and 04 would cover 90 %, but not the irs area, they still had the solid rear axle.

Default New Kodiak

I just recently picked my my new 06 Kodiak as well. I'm taking it out on its maiden voyage on Sunday and am worse than a kid at Christmas. Like you, I did alot of research and selected this as the quad I really wanted. However, price was an issue so I shopped around pretty hard for the best deal on several different quads before finding a great deal on what I really wanted anyway. (I did go with blue to save the $100 on the camo though.) Gotta love it when a plan comes together!
