Rust removal

Default Rust removal

Whats up guys... its been a while since ive been on here! My blasters been sitting outside for a while[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img] and got a little rusty where the paint is gone on the frame and the usual places. just wondering what you guys have used to remove rust. or if you just ride till its gone(usually what i do)

Hit it with some steel wool and then paint it.

lol...ride it till it breaks then weld it back just to break it again. i like the steel wool or some sand paper and just paint over it.it may not look the best but it will not rust.

I had a prob with rust on my raptors swingarm, I just spray some wd-40 on everytime b4 and after I wash it, the rust hasn't worsend yet.

haha... i think ill go with the steel wool and wd-40 combo cuz it sounds like it will work... im not going to paint it cuz the polished frame look is sick once the rust is gone. i think the chain is just going to have to unrust from wear and tear though. im not spending an hour brillowing the **** out of it.

carb cleaner is sometime a good rust remover too...it might eat the paint though

mother chrome cleaner..and steel wool....the mothers is in a red bottle..i used it on my frame after a ride on the beach rusted it.worked wonders..takes time though
