allright i narrowed down my choices for a new quad i am either geting the banshee or the 400ex i like the power of the banshee and i like that the 400ex is a 4-stroke so what quad do you thing is the better one to buy

 

why not get a raptor then?

 

The shee will be better stock, and will be cheaper to modify.
I love 2 strokes, so my advice would be to get the shee...but...I don't know anything about the 400EX...so...

 

2punksdad i would buy a raptor but i am buying and restoring a klunkered up quad and i dont think i will find any raptor klunked up

My neighbor has a highly modified banshee that he absolutely loves. I have a 400ex and I wouldn't buy anything else. His banshee can beat me in a drag very easily, it is alot faster than mine (going straight.) However, when we race through the woods, i eat him for lunch. The 400 is a much better trail quad. I guess which way you ride it should determine which one you buy.

 

I don't think thier are that many klunker 400EX's yet, they are still pretty new. Even for a trashed old Banshee you are going to pay well over 2K unless it is a total basket case. Good luck on your hunt.

 

Buy Yamaha, by the way I think Honda is doing a recall on the 400ex and the rancher.
