the only bike that you may even come close to is a katana 600. I beat one(katana) a couple of months ago with my quad, but without engine work I don't even think you would come close to it. Forget about the cbr unless you have a built up shee on alcohol.

 

I play with the crotch rocket on the main rode when I go up to the local store to get gas. Well most of them out run me in first gear. Alot of the crotch rocket will do 60 to 80 in 1st gear like gsxr,r1 and cbr you ain't going to find a quad that can out run a rocket.

 

Come on guy's, the CBR 600 has about 110 HP, and a Gixxer 750 has close to 140, and that's with stock piping and jetting. Forget it if you get someone who drag races regularly at the strip, he probably knows how to slip the clutch just right to hook up, so you ain't taking him off the line either.

 

Thanks for all the answers. Sounds like it was a pretty stupid question for most of you. I'm jut not that mechanically savy. I thought the engines in quads were motorcycle engines, so a 700 cc quad might be able to compete with a 600 cc bike. Sounds logical right?

Anyways, my wife's brother has a 600rr so I'll let you know how badly he woops my a$$
