I picked up a new Dirt Wheels magazine today and when they drag raced the Raptor against the DS the DS beat it several times,I always thought that the DS was faster ???

Did Dirtwheels use there rider who was reeled in by a Rancher while riding a Wolverine?

 

yet another fine contradiction of what they had already stated previously. I only get the mags to look at the ads. Best thing to do is to use them to start a fire. Bunch of BS usually.

 

I have to admit, today I was riding my raptor and raced ds daves ds 650. I BEAT HIM by about 5-6 bikes! I then also climbed some BIG hill easier than him and I consider myself a much better rider than him, although he weighs about 150 and I am 245. these bombajunkers are overpriced heavy clunkers!

 

guys I personly could care less if my DS ever beat anybody.I didnt buy it for drag racing or because it was faster than some other bike.I just like its styling,its power,and the way it rides.I'v got a banshee thats beat LT500,250R,400EX,DS650 and other banshees,but its also took its share of butt kickings as well.my point is,if your happy with it who cares what someone else thinks.its not costing them a dime.but if you want to compete with the BIG boys in the speed war I personaly dont think its going to be a 4 stroke that comes out on top.I personaly could care less if my bike is the fastest or the slowest as long as im having at what ever speed im going.just my opion,hope I didnt offend anyone.

The Raptor was faster in the drags, but they also said the DS was pulling hard at the end. and the DS has a half mile per hour faster speed than the Raptor. It doesn't mine the DS is actually faster since no one would have a fast quad without a rider. And RIDER DOES MATTER.
