I used a glue called Three Bond, "Griplock" to install my pro taper grips to my new bars.

Take some carburator cleaner and spray down in them, youll have to do it fast because it evaporates quick. Once you get them on though they wont come off youll have to cut them off.

Clean grips and bars with brakeclean, then spray some clear paint inside grips and then slide onto bars. Leave overnight and then go and ride, have not had one grip come loose after this process. Dont waste your cash on scotts grip glue, have had no luck using that stuff.

I've been using spray hair spray since the 70's and never had a loose grip through the years.

This technique works good, but I use brake cleaner.
