Raptor troubles

Default Raptor troubles

ok when i get to the top of one of my gears and i shift to the next its sounds like its in the same gear reving high then it like just slips into place and goes again, or if i just punch it then it revs really high not like goes really slow till i get to the top of the gear it just revs all the way up to the top of my gear whatz going on??

Sounds like you are having trouble with your clutch. It may be as simple as adjusting it but it probably needs new clutches.

You'll probably get different answers, but in my opinion EBC clutch kits are the best for the money, and are the easiest to find. You can get an EBC for the 660 at rockymountainatv.com for about $90 shipped.

so what is the big difference between EBC and the tusks clutch kits?

Tusk is a sketchy brand. Some of their products are great deals, but their brakes and clutches aren't always good quality. Some people have tusk clutches and never had any complaints, some people had tusk clutches start slipping 2 months after they were installed.

If you go for the tusk kit you're taking a chance, it might be fine for a few years, or it might crap out on you after a few hours of hard riding. It's your decision, but I don't like taking chances with internal components.
