removing airbox lid on yfz450
#6
I removed the lid on my 06, you can feel the power gain just from that, without rejetting. I live in Vegas, about 2200 above sea level, I didnt rejet and bike still runs great. I have an HMF full system on the way, with a UNI filter, then I will have to rejet, anyone recommend any specific jets? Thanks

If you go with a full exhaust system and aftermarket air filter, you will definately want to re-jet.
A good place to start at your altitude would be with a 170 main, 45 pilot, and an 04-05 needle on the 5th to 6th clip position. I don't think the stock needle on the 06's is adjustable, but the stock needle on the 04-05's is.
