I was just wondering what are some of the advantages and disadvantages of rear rim sizes between 8,9,& 10". I figure a 10" rim would give you less sidewall on the tire (to get puntured) and less prone to sidewall rollover when sliding but also the tire would have less shock absorbtion due to the decreased sidewall height when jumping. Any input would be appreciated.

Yeah, bigger rims are lighter and corner better. Also the tire/rim size combo affects this too.More tire is heavier and gives a smoother ride. For the 22" tires you have, 10" rims are a must.I run 8" beadlocks with either 20" Razr's or 18" turf tamers. I wouldnt use 22" on a performance machine.
