Ok, sorry about the other thread. But I am looking to buy a Grizz, the power to weight ratio seems unbelievable, BUT my question is, what is a good deal on a Hunter Green '06 Grizz, and what kindof deal should i be expecting if i find an '05 Grizz. Also were there ANY changes from '05 to '06?

A dealer nearby has '06 Grizzly's going for $6,400 with 2500lb Warn Winch installed. Solid Color Grizzly's. Is this a good deal? How much more do you think i could get the price taken off on an '05??

sounds like pritty good deal on the 06. as for the 05 i got mine out the door with 4 year warrenty, front lights brush gaurd, winch (instaled), hand gaurds,and a soft toet bag for the back rack. for just under 7,000. along with the free t-shirt = ]

 

lol, sounds like you got a good deal. So i suspect that there are no changes from '05 to 06? Does Yamaha still have a good waranty plan going on right now? or will i have to buy an extended warranty? Thanks.

well they come with 6 month. but i got the exstended just because i like to,.... how you say.... rape it. lol . one thing to when the dealer gives you a price on the warrenty if you want it that is ... try to talk him down a little and if he says he can't he's fool of it . also 05 to 06 there is no diff. at least i think not . sept the limmeted adition wich if godly. Looks that is. one other thing ? y are you going to get another atv when you have so meny now? if you could maybe hold off till next year and see the new grizz? just a thought.

i see what you mean, but i only have 1 atv. The '04 SP 500 Mossy Oak was stolen while at the dealership. And the Rancher was sold around Christmas. So i need another, friends come to ride, Dad will take one when he goes hunting, etc.. I have been thinking about seeing what Yamaha comes out with, maybe i will.

this is very true. what you say about the 660. and oh boy it's great.! i too have more atvs then i should because of little brother and friends plus the hole family even my bad and mom like the new grizz. and they hated the very thought of them 1 1/2 years ago. But i know a few people that bought the recon 650 then foud out about the newer one and now are stuck with there 650 rencon. yet still happy with them. the only reson i didn't wait until next year's is because i wanted one now! but it was a spurt though too ,because i was going to buy the 400ex and left with the grizz. but am glad i did!i wanted somthing with some pep... and i got it . no bs it's bin on the road doing 68mph. and the front end will stand up with a pull. plus i got the 4x4 so i think i got the one i wanted .


ps sux your bike got stolen !! did the dealer give you anything ??

if not for a small price i can make him disappear... lol j/m

lol, thats EXACTLY why i cant wait, I WANT ONE NOW lol. Well as you see i live in ALabama.. and while i was riding out in the woods one day (on my sp500) i got in some very thick woods, and didnt see a low Tree and limb and it knocked me off of my 4 wheeler ((lol i was going alot faster than i should've been)) and i got up ( wasnt hurt ) and got back on my fourwheeler only to find out that the limb completely took off my throttle, all i had was a little nub. So of course i took it to the dealer, and it was around the same time as Hurricane Ivan, so while at the dealer, Right before the hurricane hit, some people broke in the dealership and stole like 5 ATV's. Hope they got far without a throttle lol.. But yes Polaris did take care of me. Their policy was for me to continue the payments but on new '05 SP 500 Mossy Oak, for free, but instead there was a left over green 700 for the same price, so we worked out a deal and i got it instead. and im glad i did. lol. Also : are the stock tires complete crap on the grizz like i heard? i think i may just swap out my 589's and buy a new set for my SP. Thanks.

glad to here the dealer took care of you. and yes the tires are no good , nothing to say but they r junk. to small of tire for the bike. (with) No good in mud, my 250 bruin go,s better in 2 wheel with it's mud lights. then the grizz dose in 4 low lock. i feel this is the only bad thing about the bike! one more thing i rampped the grizz 2-3 weeks ago and had a friend on the back, wile in the air i kinda was huggen the gas tank and he was sitting straight up, wouldn't you know it he hit his chin on the limb and fell off!! pritty funny but he still compaining about a headake. he was out cold. but all is well!
