but not to start a fight but does track racing really matter? I don't know a single person who rides on a track. the percentage of people who trail ride as opposed to MX race, is huge. The real test is real world atving, what the majority of us do. some deep woods ,open fire roads some mud holes things like that.
Just because people race together certainly does not mean they are equally as skilled.

 

If racing doesn't matter, then why is every other post on these forms about one bike beating another bike? The only way to somewhat benchmark the performance of various bikes is to compare them under equal conditions with able riders. A 200 foot drag race through a corn field proves little. Yet, that is what is given as evidence of a one bike's superiority over another in most of the arguments I've read.
