660r vs. z400
Hey. I have a warrior, the reason i am not searching, is because i have a different situation going on. I have a 2001 yamaha warrior, i outgrew everything on it, power, suspension, chassis, everything. I need something better, I am definitely going to get a z400, but, i wanted to know what i should do to it when i get it so that i can beat a 500 preddy and a rappy 600r and a ds650, i know anything is possible with enough money, will a pipe air filter jetting be enough to take any of those quads stock?? if not tell me what i need, thanks! also anything that is a bolt on part that is a good upgrade for a z400 just let me know anything about it thats important im rambling right now sorry

Put a good fullsystem pipe on and you should be able to outrun them all on the 300', and anything longer i would say you might be able to stay ahead if you have a plus 1 countershaft sprocket. But i am not for sure. Mine will have no problems outrunning any of those, even with slip on pipes. A fully piped raptor would be a good race for my z, but on the 300 i will anialiate their @$$es! But maybe its just the ryder

Ive drag raced my neighbor (04 Z400 pipe, jets, and filter) i gave him a half a bike length to start and i beat him in the quarter mile on gravel 7 of 7 races (by about 2 lengths each time) . A piped pred will beat me by about 3 or 4 lengths. A piped raptor i can beat by a length. Of course these are all piped machines but that should give a reference for ya run into em an they wana race. Check my sig for mods.
