Default Prices on '06 Grizzlies

Hey everyone,

I'm strongly considering buying an '06 Grizzly. What kind of out the door prices have you been getting? Anything to watch out for on the '06's?

Thanks.

I was comparing the 500 Honda, 500 Polaris and Grizzly's today and the Rubicon and Grizzly (Sale Price $6899.00 on both) were about $7400.00 Out the door (OTD). The Polaris carbed was several hundred dollars less, but the EFI was close to $7400.00. This was in western Arizona.

BTW, Which of the 3 (Honda, Polaris, or Yamaha) would riders here chose. I am trying to make up my mind.

I purchased a 2006 660 for $6200.00 with a free Warn 2.5 winch (did not include taxes, license, registration) from LakeHill Motors in Corinth, Mississippi.

Long drive but worth it.

Well, I made the leap. I'm picking up my new 2006 Grizzly on Saturday. I checked with 5 or 6 dealers in my area and the best deal I got was $6700 out the door with the winch that Yamaha is offering. I still need to pay for registration and all that but that shouldn't be too bad. Can't wait to ride!

I had to drive about 3500 miles round-trip for that $500.00 deal difference.

The best I could find was 7495 OTD on my `06 with the real tree Camo on it... Then again... SC has really crappy taxes for atv's... It was 6300 something before the taxes and crap...

Any distance too far could easily eat up any savings on the atv with the usage of gasoline alone. A little
more distance one might even have to sleep overnite in a motel. My bet is to find the best deal close to
your home, make the purchase then you have someone to contact also, once you need some under
warranty service done. Dealers are much more responsive to machines they sell. Not that they won't
work on yours but you may have to wait awhile.

I got my 06 grizzly 660 for 6600.00. when u buy it check the welds on the a-arm brackets. I have 2 hours on my grizzly and it is sitting in the garage with a snapped bracket. i was just riding down a field and the front end started to wander side to side and then i made a right hand turn and almost went over the handle bars. the left front tire was tucked under my quad....before you leave the dealership turn that grizzly inside out...inspect it like crazy and save yourself the headache....

steell33:

Man, what bad luck.

I could have saved myself some grief if I would have checked the oil myself (it was overfull) before I left the dealership. The guy who sold it to me said that it had already been checked.

Good luck getting the frame fixed under warranty. Keep us posted. I have a brand new Grizz also.
