Both are good choices, both are dependable and strong, and have similar 4x4 systems. The honda may be more utility, and the vinson being more sporty.

Same here

Forman = Utility

Vinson = Utility with a sporty side to go with it

If I were buying a 500 I would look to the Vinson. It to me is a better overall pkg.

But for the Money the Brute Force 650 Solid axle is about the same price but has allot more power and has all the flagship features like front Locker auto trans twin cylinders ect. ect. It is also by far the most fun to ride for this price segment. Just a thought.

Are you looking at a Honda Foreman Rubicon 4x4? I only ask because they also make a 500 two wheel drive. You can't beat a Honda Foreman. I'm a big Yamaha fan but, anyone who works on quads can see Honda really did their homework. Honda spent tons of time and money engineering their automatic transmissions. They refuse to just throw a belt drive on the side. You pay more up front for a Honda Foreman but it's well worth it. We have 4 Honda Foremans in the group and the only thing that stops them is a airbox full of water.
