My God this thing is unreal. I would have never thought that a four stroke could run like this. I havent been able to get on it yet. But what little I did I couldnt believe it. To all who dont have one GET ONE!!!!!!

Congratulations on your new ride! All other Raptor riders know exactly what you are describing.

 

Raptors are the best!!! I feel though that it should have some more power on top end and troughout the whole range but i have never raced a stock 400ex just a modded one and i still killed him. With a good pipe on the raptor, good luck hangin on!

 

the last posting struck a cord with me. I LOVE MY RAPTOR but I also feel it is lacking up top. There were two 400's out this weekend but I did not bother with them. I took a stock banshee two weeks ago quite easily. I know there is nothing wrong with the Rap but I thought it would be faster. I guess it is on top that it is missing. It pulls in any gear, 4th on an MX track and I did not have to ride the clutch. I am not sure if I am explaining myself properly. I have never ridden anothe quad so I am not sure. My experience is only with a YZ 250 and a CR 500. I know they are different power bands and such but....
