me and my friend were riding our quad in a field next to my house the field is at least 40 acres anyways we rode for 20 mins then went down the road a block once were going to put them away and a cop pulled up...he said we needed registration for the machines..or some type of proof..i looked and found nothing, so he wrote us a tickes for no Helmets and no endorsement for a motorcycle..then at the bottom some extra charges are no plates and no ins..we have orv stickers that expire at the end of the month..i know you can get ins for a quad but is it required?? the only thing we could get a ticket for was no helmet right? there is no signs that say no riding morotcycles or quads etc...thanks for all you help

 

Our town cop in linesville Pa said to have liability Ins. and said keep the speed down and don't be loud.....he will let us ride in town to fill up and find a trail

Also no helmet laws here anymore
