Raptor for MX
#11
KyRaptor, I totally agree with you on what you said. The Raptor MUST be widened and slightly lowered to be a competitive MX machine. Some zero preload or the TCS shocks should do the trick to bring it down a little. I'm still in the air about +2" or +3" a-arms,I will buy some, but not sure which ones, and I will definately be buying an extended axle this week. I'm also going to replace that junk factory swingarm and chain adjustment w/ a round housing type and it will be extended at least 1 1/2". I also am getting racing wheels w/ beadlocks, 18x9.5x8 turfs, radial fronts. All this, not to mention the little extras we MXers need will definately cost a pretty penny!! - We're not even talking about the motor mods...whew! Oh well, I guess if you want to play, you gotta pay!

Get the Axis shocks, or PEP ZPS shocks, +2+1 A arms should be plenty wide, wider axle, graydon nerfs, skids, beadlock rims, with Rikens on the front, go with a sparks exhaust with a sparks national engine. Also sidewinder stainless steel sprokets(12tCS & stock rear) and stainless steel chain, Barnett kevlar clutches, and hopefully 2 39mm flatslides if they fit. Also it helps if you are rich. Im not.
