hehe if he's considering a pheonix I think a 250r would be a little more than he could handle... I just needed an excuse to post a pic of my cousin's lt250r

Yea recon is rite, I think he's looking for a beginner quad, LT 250R and especially a 250R is not a beginner quad although I learned on an LT 250R but....

yeah, I was being a smarta$$ but why not!!!!! And actually, out of a z250, 250ex, and a blaster I'd choose the blaster.

yo im 14 too and you would definitly get bored of thode quads.get the blaster....you could handle it,hey they also are pretty inexpensive.

what was the exact reason for not wanting a blaster. aslong as u get a 2003+ one (i think) that have the hydraulic rear break they r great. made by yamaha so will keep on going, they r light and r really easy to throw around when you get racing them. as for if you are starting all quads have a throttle limiter just screw that in then you aint gonna throw yourself off the back of it, then start screwing that back out then after that there are loads an loads of parts outta there to race prep it.

god dam it i always do that. before anyone gets picky i meant brake lol

the answer is easy you should deff go with the 250 ex becuse that thing goes like 250 mph

I never saw one go over 150 with just race cut plastics, you need at least some nerf bars and stickers if you wanna hit 250 mph. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
