Warrior Not Running Right
Hey Guys-
This is my first post, and hopefully not the last. Anywho, I rode my '01 Warrior for probably a good 5 miles in 6th gear earlier (not pegged out, about half throttle most of the time.), and when I got it back home, I shut it off, and went to start it back up, and it starts, but won't run properly. It sits and idles just fine, but when you give it throttle, it sputters and pops likes its choked, even though it isnt. I checked the plug, and it's fine, there's plenty of oil in it, and the air filter is clean. Could it be because it just needs to cool down? I let it sit for about an hour and went back to it to start it, and it did the same thing, but the motor was still very hot. Any ideas? I hope I didn't screw anything important up. I just got the thing lined out today finally. New starter, battery, etc.. Thanks for any help!

Even if the parking break is there, if the pads are worn at all it would probably not be the problem. If you say it pops during accelaration, sounds like it could be lean (starving for fuel), how old is the fuel? If more than a couple months old, could be bad. Second, try changing inline filter, if it has one. And last, there could be something in carb clogging jet.
