Any comments about the 06, issues with it or anything that would be a good note for potential buyers...(ME)

 

My buddy just bought one, it kicks **** of course he put a Fat Boy exchaust and Elka shocks on it. Also, the GPR steering stabalizer doesn't hurt :-) I have an 05 Pred that I'm thinking of trading in for an 06 YFZ. I think the 06 YFZ is probably the best sport quad on the market today JMO

YFZs have been pretty solid right from the start. There have been a few minor issues along the way, including a few with the '06. If you are buying now then you won't have any problems with yours. Yamaha addressed some of the earlier models user friendliness issues(seat,shocks,bar height, more low end power) but she is still a screamer.
