Well last time we were at Little Sahara...I got to race a DS....He had a big bore kit..(dunno what it was) he just said he had Big Bore and Cam. We were modded about the same..Anyway...we raced 3 times and he bet me 2 out of the 3...The DS would keep the front end on the ground a little better than my rappy...I could not get all the way into my rappy till the end of 3rd gear...But it just seemed to me the DS would get out of the hole better becouse it would stay on the ground a little better...So im gettin a +4 to help me out a little.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

If your raptor is stock and that DS is stock it will be a good race. GET this though, last summer my sister bought a brand new raptor, we were headed to St. Anthony's and she was going to go but backed out after her bike was loaded I took it anyway. While we were out riding, I took her raptor 1 afternoon, and a friend of mines kid had a brand new z400, this kid is 12 or 13 mind you, we raced severall times and were dead even on almost every race. There was also a piped Z that we run around with that was also out there, I raced it with the raptor with the same results. But on my DS and those two I beat em by a long ways. just my $0.02.

Now that i have a 660, i can say that just piped it will smoke a ds650

 

the only reason a ds 650 with stay on the ground is because they built it so heavy. it has a dry weight of around 500 pounds with is far too much weight. they have plenty of power but they are but too heavy for me
