waiting on the head to comeback from porting on my raptor, will be a 720 ported and polished running a 20 shot of nos, now looking toward the carbs, I have had many difrent opinons. my question is can I run my stock carbs if jetted right? any body with this kit what are you running? if i have to upgrade should I go with the 35 or 39 fcr's or the single edelbrock and does anyone know where the cheepest place to get the fcr's for. thank you all for the help.

Get the edelbrock.






It'll give you something to sell to your buddies and make them slower.

FCRs are the way to go, dual lectrons are the new thing if you're more drag oriented which it sounds like you are.

I run 35mm fcr on my LRD686. tried the big single and I did not like it at all. The 35mm and the 39mm are so close in performance you are not gaining any noticable ponnies with the 39mm over the 35mm. call scott at curtis sparks racing he will explain it a little better than i can al in all go with the fcr for shur. I shopped around alot before I bought miy carbs, the best price I found was at curtis sparks racing for $859.00 they come pre jettedand ready to install.



best place for your stock carbs is ebay, with the power your putting out you need to let the motor breath as much as you can

is there a dual lectron kit made for the rapotrs and can any 39 fcr dual set be ran on my bike if jetted right i typed in dual fcr 39 ebay and a set came up for a ducati motorcycle can these be set up to run on my bike ? not a big carb guy can do the engine but not the carbs thanx for the help so far and any more help is greatly appreciated

35 or 39mm pending on your engne mods.
But i would probaley say 35mm good alrounders with the NOS go the 39s thats what im running on mine.

Thanx guys and does any one know about using the dual fcrs I have found on ebay? they are listed as dual fcr 39 for a ducati 900-750 look to be in good condition. can they work?
