Ugh, forget about DG, their stuff is junk. I'd rather have stock than DG.

Sort of brought back an 8 month old thread though...

Yeah, Sorry about the old thread, I dont have any personal experience with anything made by DG other than their skid plates, which seem to be decent. How do you like your wiseco piston recon99?, Ive got one on the way for my wolverine.

When I started out with my warrior I had a bunch of DG stuff on it. Nerfs, bumper, swingarm skid, and grab bar. The grab bar sucked because they have this HUGE mounting tab for a whip flag, mounted right in the middle of the thing, where you would naturally put your foot or hand when you're using it. The nerfs never lined up right and always rubbed my front tires, the mounting brackets rusted up because DG never painted them like they should have, and the tubing was weak because the left side is bent several inches up and back from where it's supposed to be. The bumper was built too strong, so when I crashed the frame got tweaked and the mounts for the bumper cracked, instead of the bumper just folding up and absorbing the impact (which is what a bumper is there for, right?). And the good ol swingarm skid got all bent up, the little girly welds cracked off, and I had to completely rebuild the thing by pressing it flat again, welding a 1/4" aluminum plate on top of the existing one, and running a new weld all the way along both of the mounting plates. That's how it should have been built to begin with, especially since DG stuff is among the most expensive out there.

The piston is fine so far, no complaints. I got a little power boost and the engine revs a lot quicker.
