Default raptor keeps starting with key off

Thats what I was figuring but I just wanted to make sure. Anyways the output on the relay reads 0 with the battery connected and with the starter button depressed, but with the starter button pressed it reads 12, so that means the relay is good right. So I guess I will just be searching through all of my wiring harness again to try and come up with something. Anyone got anyother ideas. Recon you are being a huge help and I thank you for every bit of it.

Hmm, i'm a little stumped here. The only path current can flow between the battery and starter is through the solenoid when everything is properly connected. So if the solenoid is working properly how the heck is the current flowing to the starter? Could the cables on the solenoid possibly be touching when they're both connected?

I think I am going to go ahead and order the starter relay. Because with everything connected how it should be the relay makes some weird noises, it just doesnt click once it will click and hold a click for a few seconds and click a bunch of times real fast and then hold a click again. Thats when the tops of my battery start to melt.
I have all the plastic off of my bike and have been through the wiring harness 4 times, I have checked all the connections and everything. The only thing I can think would be the solenoid is going out on me.

are you sure the battery is charged good, and that the connections on the terminals are clean and shiny?

Theres no way that I could see that they would be touching.

If you have been riding in the sand or in alot of mud you may have a problem with the starter switch or the iwring to and from the switch. Just something else to think about. LOL

well it wasnt the starter relay switch, so I have no idea what I am going to do. I dont have the money right now to have someone look at it for me. Does anyone have any ideas left. By the way it does not do the thing where the starter keeps cranking anymore, the relay just clicks, I thought it may be the battery was going dead butI put the charger on it and it still does the same thing. I'm desperate for opinions right now so please HELP ME!
