I work for a dealer up here in Canada, and our 2007 intro for the Atv's is June 29th, it's usually in May but it's a month late this year, not sure why, maybe some new things comin. Also for our ATV launch, they've rented a section of a provincial park to do Demo's. They definately do not normally do this up here, so all I can say is I really don't know what we're in store for, but I think it's more than just a 700 EFI Grizzly. I have had doubts about the 800 EFI, an EFI YFZ, a new banshee/blaster replacement EFI MX bikes, etc. But maybe these are some things we'll see for 2007, because I highly doubt our DSM here would put up the extra money for doing this demo if it was just for another year of carbed 660s and so on. I think it'll be good, but we'll have to wait till June.

Does anyone know the exact dates for the Yamaha Dealer show?

It is usually the first week or two of June.

Yamaha alsways has surprises, some that are fantastic (700 FI Raptor) and some that leave you scratching your head (450 auto Wolverine).

Mr. Know-it-all, what makes you think this? No one has any idea what Yamaha plans to change, just like every year. So I can guarantee you have no idea what your talking about. So why do you think you "heard it from the horses mouth" and please don't say "I own a dealership" (or something along those lines) cause that means jack crap. Yamaha doesn't release anything to the public including the dealerships. You can't just say that and expect everyone to believe you without significant proof of your claim.
well i just seen 2 new grizzly's sitting out back in crates we got em in last friday didnt pay too much attention to them till this morning and the model no looked wierd well upon further inspection thay are 2007 grizzlys model no YFM66FGWL they are blue and the same as 06 models. so what does this mean my horse knew what he was talkin about

Since there is a viable 650-700 class that all the mfgs seem to be keeping in there lineups, it does not surprise me that yamaha would be keeping the 660 grizz. What I am thinking is there will be a new addition to the Grizz line just like there are 3 or 4 raptors I don't see why they would not just add another model like an 800 Grizz. There are some strong indicators that Kawi and Polaris maybe joining the 800 class this year. I know the Popo has a socalled 800 but there are rumors they may go to 850 or in the case of the Popo's a 818 and call it a 850. I guess my point is I still think Yamaha may have a new larger cc model on its way for 07', just an additional model to the lineup.

I have heard alot of hype about a new Big Bear. It is slated to have a 500 cc motor, IRS, 5-speed auto clutch, and diff. lock. I don't know wether it will have EFI, but I sure hope it does, as the Polaris is the only 500 with fuel injection. As for the Grizzly, there have been multiple polls about a 700 efi derived from the Raptor, and a 750 or an 800 Twin. There has also been some speculation about taking 2 Kodiak 400 jugs, placing them side by side, and having an 800 twin, just as Bomb did! (Can-Am) But as for these sayings being called "true", I guess we'll have to find out on JUNE 12th!

Ya, the press release I was told was June 26th here in Canada so it'll be the same in the US. Our dealer show is the 28th, and I'm supposed to go, but my girlfriend has Graduation, and I'm her escort so I won't be going, O well. I wish we could find out june 12th, but then again, im glad it's not till the end of the month, cuz we've gotta few more 06's to move yet. I got sent a sneek peak photo of the 2007 YZF MX Bike, thats supposedly new, but the pic is so small I can't see if it's fuel Injected or anything. We'll have to wait till the 26th. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait.

Since Yamaha has to come out with an 800 to replace or at least be in addition to the R1, do you think they could use that for the Grizz? just detune it. Because MotoGP is going to 800cc so Yamaha and valentino rossi are designing a new R8? that needs to be out for 2007, so we can expect to see an R8 anyways, but might make the likelihood of a grizzly 800 more probable? but who knows, anyone else know anything.

I've been holding out for almost a year anticipating a 700EFI Rhino. I'm gonna be pissed if I buy a 660 2007 just to have a 700EFI in 2008.
