Grizzly 660 H.P. and Speed???
My Grizz has 42 H.P and will go 66 on a GPS with stock tires. I have 26 inch XTR's a clutch kit and jet kit as well as a twin air filter, now the best I can get is around 62 ......sometimes 63 mph but it will not stay at 63 it will bounce between 62, 63 . I am planning to put a mud buster cam in it from hot cams next week and I hope to get it to go as good with the bigger tires as it does with the stock tires.

The Grizz's hit their rev limiter around 63 MPH
Most I've ever seen was 64 MPH bone stock, the engine seemed to be spinning pretty dang hard too.
I have no idea how you all get 74 MPH out of a Grizz w/o some CDI mods or taller gearing. The older Grizz's are a bit slower cause the limiter is 1k less, I think 2004 and lower. The power is severly ramped down too cause the engine is spinning way past it's power curve, I don't know the numbers but I bet it's down 50% at peak RPM hitting the very back edge of the power band.
Sorry guys, but the Grizz makes the power down low on the revs. If it were a manual you'd be short shifting it just like a skilled Rappy rider.

Mine runs 68...it's old and beaten down...when it was new I hit 70......driven beside it in a car to check speed. it is correct... maybe some are faster than others from the factory just like every thing else you can purchase out there...my vrod is slower than some others w the same mods... my dodge ram smokes my buddy's (same truck no mods to either one)...if you took 20 of the same motors and dyno'ed them they might all make similar but different #s

same here 68-69 bone stock on flat......and yes it was reving pritty hard, but it is an automatic. this past winter with completley stock Grizz I was beating up on 750 bf in the quarter mile (and he had a few mods) Although I like the 750bf as well. Now I've moded her up a bit and get the same speed with the 27" xtr's and 14"type 7's however its a bit more rough on the cv joints now.
