Stock Banshee...Stock Gearing....71.46mph. Thats with a 14 tooth front and 42 tooth rear. I however run a 16 front and 41 rear. I have a ported 4mil stroked 350 engine. My top speed that the gearing will allow 91.58 with 22' tires, My actual top speed 84mph. Anyone going faster than that...I say prove it. And do it with a 350cc engine... You need a ton of horsepower to pull that gearing.

i'm not one of them saying a raptor will beat a banshee but the guy who said his banshee tops out at 135mph is on crack and i hope he reads your post.

yeah right i have a banshee and ive top out at 220 mph im not lieing it was clocked witha police issue radar gun (idiots put things like this and ive seen a few post like this)

the fastest quad ever was a 700 raptor with a rocket on the back of it and it went 150mph. it is called the rocket raptor made by alba. guy who had it used to be on here.

 

i just installed a super charger and 2 tooth down in the rear...we'll see what happens

It gets to 74 ok if you stay with it and have enough room I have hit 80 but that was it and it took a long time to get there. I don't think in total stock form it can do 80 before the 9,000 rpm red line

 

i am 330 lbs on a bone stock raptor 700 and i gps'd myself goind 73 on as flat of a road as i could find

 

Not to hijack this thread but this banshee talk has me wanting to give you my input. My banshee with pipes and filter, timing advanced 4 degrees, 14/44 gearing and 22 inch tires was radared at 81 mph on pavement.

 

After 65 on quads you are asking to get killed

 

The vapor computer on my raptor keeps the max speed and I reset it before each ride and I didn't come back from many rides with a max speed obtained from the ride of less than 70. But the last time I had the raptor out was on christmas eve and when I was a the shop tonight I look at the max speed from that ride and it was 66.4 and that was kinda dumb because there was icy spots on the trails that day and I did sorta crash into a bunch of little trees while out of control on the ice, the ride up to the trees was kinda cool[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img] it was the sudden stop when I run into them that sucked[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

but ive been clocked by a "friend" cop at 82 in 5th hitting rev limiter had crappy 22 inch rear wheels stock 14/38 teeth with my mods then took me about 100-150 feet to stop

geared to 13/40 now i belive its around a 307
