I HAVE G.P.S. AND IT SAID I GOT TO 72MPH AT 12000 FT ALT. ALL STOCK EXECEPT K&N AIR FILTER!</end quote></div>
My 700 is completely stock and 73.4 mph was my top speed full throttle in the high desert on a dry lake bed near Fort Sage per a GPS unit. If you live in Nor Cal or around the Reno, NV. are you have to check this place out in person. The actual park is small but the riding area around the park is humongous. FORT SAGE Normal riding on trails: I sometimes get to shift in to 3rd but usually 2nd gear is more then enough.

I hit 75.5 mph on my Suzuki 86 LT 250r in soft sand. Course I've got an 04 Gixxer 750 engine with 130 hp. and 14000 rpm redline in it. I only made it to 5th gear before I ran out of room. GPS said 75.5 mph but speedo was at 103 mph.

Here's a timeslip from my 2005 YFZ450 at my local 1/8th mile IHRA Dragstrip.I'm in the right lane and ran a MPH of 70.55 in the 1/8th mile or 660 feet.I've ran a best of 73 mph at another local track (Bristol Dragway), but didn't feel like trying to find the timeslip and scan it.That is with a 13 tooth front sprocket and 36 tooth rear with 21" Duro Top Fighter tires.

I have an 2007 raptor 700 special edition and when it was stock it would top out at 73 Mph, then i put a big gun dual exhaust and a power-commander 5 on it and it would go about 84 mph on flat ground--- GPS tracking

I had a 700 se and had it clocked by a motorcycle and my truck. Both at 86 mph. Had it clutched and a slip on exhaust. That is it.
