I was looking at the CT racing dyno information on a raptor 660. That's where I saw 48hp, maybe they're wrong, I don't know. And I don't have my own dyno and CT exhaust to tell you for sure. But I am buying an LRD system within the next month and having it dyno tuned at a place here called Looney Tooners. If you want I'll tell you the horsepower numbers I get after it's installed. LRD says 46.3 hp so I guess we'll see...

To clarify: I have beaten a 450R and a YFZ450 both stock, but keep in mind that I only weigh 125lbs

It's hard to keep the front end down...

Just in time for publication we were able to get a new 2003 Polaris Predator test unit put on the dyno at Dynojet's Research and Development facility in Las Vegas, NV. The 500cc motor in the new Predator has already proven to be very strong in our intial testing. Michael Cory helped us to find out just what the Dyno says:

So just what did it say? The Predator cranked out an easy 42HP. Very impressive for a stock 500cc ATV. This is 6 HP more than the 660ccYamaha Raptor in stock form. We will be doing more in-depth testing of the Predator and bring you an in depth report next month! (I know, tough job....)

Now, I could really care less about top speed as Im all about getting there quick. Last thing is, there is NO WAY any quad with " REVERSE" is going to beat a 4fitty, lol.........thats just the way it is
It Really dont matter what you ride....Its how deep your pockets are....

Alaskasbest...The way you run your mouth..Its going to be bad one of these days when you run across a built rappy....Your little 450 will look like a kids toy in 300 foot....

I would not have a problem losing to a raptor, but it wont be a stock one or with just a few mods. And "run my mouth" screw you, im just giving facts. As stated before, a stock raptor will in no way quicker than a stock 450. You put 1000.00 in each a the yfz is still quicker. I dont really care what you say just look at the dyno numbers and if a predator gives the raptor a run or beats it, theres your awnser, cause my predator will not run with my yfz. Im done posting on this subject.

Every dyno is different. Some people on here just dont understand. I dont care who says what about which bike can smoke the other bike, I am just going off of what I know first hand. every rider is different.

DriverDoyle hit the nail on the head, whoever has the deepest pockets will have the fastest quad. Enough of this talk of what quad is faster... I'm going riding!
