Kodiak Wheel Offsets
#1
Can anyone explain wheel offsets to me?
I have 4 new wheel/tire combo's all 25x10x12. Which one's go on the rear? The deeper wheels or the shallow ones? When I say deep or shallow I am refering to the inside view of the wheel. It appears that whichever way I have them, either the front stick out further or the back sticks out further. Is one way more acceptabel then the other?

The offset is because of the independent rear suspention...that throws the rears out about 2" per side compared to the ones that don't have IRS
If you look at striaght axle quads.... many have a recessed wheel in the rear the IRS dont

In looking at your pictures, I noticed that your rear end is not as exposed. On mine, the disc brakes are more exposed as is the linkage on the IRS. Is thsi a problem? Would it be bad to have the wheels up front wider then the rear as race quads do? What would be the impact?
