You'd probably get around 2100 on the trade-in, and a warrior could cost anywhere from 1000 to 4000 depending on the condition and mods it has. A stock one somewhere around a 1998-2002 will probably be around $2400

They're all mostly the same between 89 and 2004, the only real noticable differences are the headlights. I think it's somewhere around 1993 that they switched to the round headlights. I'd say the best year would be somewhere around 1998 and up, the newer the better.

If you get a 350 that has been taken care of, and if you take care of it yourself it'll be a very reliable machine for you, but like with every quad if it's not maintained properly you'll probably have trouble somewhere along the line.

top speed is about 61-64 for a stock warrior, the raptor maybe 2 mph faster

The raptor has a couple small tweaks - different cam, exhaust, and it weighs about 25 lbs less. I still like the warrior better though, I don't like the way the raptor 350 looks, there's more aftermarket support for the warrior, and you can get a warrior for cheaper.

No like Recon said besides looks and and a few minor changes they are essentially the same.

Yamaha stayed with the 350 engine for 2 reasons when coming out with the 350 raptor

1) to keep costs down to compete with both 250/300 class quads and the 400's

2) it has been a very reliable engine for them

Nah, I don't like the way they look. The raptor styling thing is getting out of hand, yamaha is just using the success of the real raptors, the 660/700 to sell their 50, 80, and 350. It's just a warrior posing as a raptor. All the new sport quads are starting to look the same, I like the looks of older quads better because they all had their own unique style.

Kinda like how honda is making the sport quad plastic all the same i mean the 450r,the 400ex,the 250ex and the trx 90 all look alike. It is stupid. How does the warrior handle tight trails?
