i have only seen one big bore blaster and it was a 240! That thing was smoking everything it went up against except a tricked out banshee and a 250r with a 310 kit..that little thing would haul some major butt!

I have the CT 24o kit, theres some pics of the difference in piston size and the porting on my web page.

You can rebuild them the same as you do any blaster. If you have any problems with the kit there are 3 over bores. The main difference is that you must use a special head gasket, and the piston domes are modified.

Performance is excellent. Theres tons of bottom end and midrange for climbing hills. No downshifting really necessary. With me on the blaster 200 lbs. It will run with stock banshees and slightly modified. The banshees still have a faster 6th gear than the blaster, but its a really close race till 6th, then the banshee will pull a little. Could be a different story if you only weigh 130 lbs.

The bad thing is if you weigh less. My compression is 205-210 psi. When I was on vacation I met these kids who weighed 120-130 they couldnt even kick it over, but they werent use to kicking over bikes either. If your use to it and have a strong kick you shouldnt have a problem. Starting with the 240 is still the same 1-3 kicks.

Are you still using the stock carb?
If so, does the kit include jets or a recommendation of jets to use?

The 265 and 290 kits are used for 100 yard sand drags. These are not for riding around with, they run too hot after a long ride. When you get up into these types of bores cooling becomes a real problem. Air cooling isn't very practical, you would probably have to either getting a water cooling kit that sells for around 500 bucks.

Im using the PJ 34 mm carb. It came pre-jetted for the 240 kit, but I went up 2 sizes on the main. The kit moslty comes with the PWK 35 mm but I bought my kit in parts and chose the 34 instead. I think either will give you the same performance.
