My 04 Raptor will not start and is not getting spark. I have read about this being caused by the stator. Can anybody tell me where this is located and how to disconnect it? Pics maybe? The battery is charged, connections are tight, carbs are on and clean. Any help would be appreciated I am running out of ideas, Thx

 

try disconnecting the regulator....its a small box thingy with fins by the coolant bottle. Crank it and see if it starts...if it does plug it back in. Hope this helpls

 

Will it run without the stator plugged in or will it just drain my battery?
