I depends on what tire you get, from Itp. My xcr's are awesome on trails, and they work great on the track. But they are a bit heavy since they are six ply. But they dont slip like the other full mx tire, after they wet the track, and there is like 9 in. of mud in some places. LOL. They really help me when going through one straight that always has that much mud, then I can slip passed some racers since they just spin wildly instead of powering right through it like nothing.

I put a set of Maxxis Razr2's on my 700 last week and they seemed to be excellent on sunday...... Definately better than the original Dunlop's that were on there. As said previously it all depends on the type of riding your going to be doing but i think the Razr's are a great all round tyre. They are also 6 ply so punctures become less of a problem....
