In a drag race the Banshee modded should beat a Raptor 700. Also remember top end a 700r beats a YFZ. But Hands down a Raptor will beat a Banshee on the Trails. I would love to see a stock for stock race with a Banshee, Raptor 700r and YFZ 1/4 - 1/2 mile.

 

Nothing will beat an experienced banshee rider anywhere. Why do you think they came out with a seperate 4 stroke class for almost every racing class.

 

Your post reminds me of something that happend a couple nights ago. My friend fixed up my 400ex (the bearings were done) and once it was fixed up, he dragged my other friend on pavement. The other friend has the new Suzuki 450. The LT450r right? Anyways, my friend's 450 has a cherry bomb on it or something like that and my friend was on my 400ex (mods listed below, plus a 14 Tooth Front Sprocket). Right off the line, my 400ex pulled ahead but into 2nd gear, the 450 was ahead. Both friends are experienced, but the one on the 400ex was more experienced than the other friend. I imagine if both riders switched bikes, the 450 would kill my 400.

callin BS!!! on the 40 quad lenths? a banshee is roughly 73 inches long w/o an extended swingarm. thats about 273 feet. the average drag is about 300feet.

I think banshees are overrated. A banshee isn't very fast untill you start boring and stroking them. Then they start getting fast. Untill then they arent as fast as everyone says.

 

Thats funny when an idiot 12 year old gets on here claiming to have the fastest YFZ around then gets trashed with a novel of proof that the YFZ isn't that great. Then waht does he say??? "oh yeah, well, well, well". Thats hilarious. The truth is that I have the fastest quad in the world, So I know that Krazy is lying. ha ha ha

 

not fast unless starting boring them!!
a stock 348cc engine with the right pipe and porting combo and all the stuff you normally do to a 2 stroke then (heads,timing,ignition higher output,reeds,carbs,air intake,...) can produce over 75 hp+,,the bored ones can reach almost 100 hp+,,go figure that out...
everyone should known a piped and ported shee is really fast on top end.

 

ill tell u what all u need for your banshee is a pipe kit,reeds,a trinity single carb and a sixteen tooth front sprocket w/stock tires and ur gonna smoke just about anything on ur block. trust me i live in st. lawrence county new york and i havent been beat yet. not even by sleds on the river.(due to my gbc realators with 144 gold digger studs.)
