1986 Yamaha YFM 80 ATV Voltage Rectifier/Regulator
Hey everyone,
I am trying to find a source for a Votlage Rectifier/Regulator for a Yamaha YFM80 MOTO-4 ATV. I have checked several places here in my home town, but they said the part is discontinued and dont have it. They suggested trying to find a source for used parts or a Online Yamaha ATV Parts Source. The battery wasnt charging and the Headlights were dim when the ATV was running. I ordered a parts manual, and followed the trouble shooting process. I replaced one of the coils, but apparently it wasnt the defective part, although it did need replacing because of evidence of it getting very hot and discolored.
If anyone knows of a place I can get this Part from I would appreciate the info.

Check www.ronnies.com They have the parts breakdown for your YFM-80. Click on "purchase OEM parts, then Yamaha, then ATV's, your year, then model". The part you are looking for is item # 11 in the electrical section and is listed for $83.82. Maybe it is no longer available, but at least you can try there.
