hey...sounds like the same thing that happened to mine...lift up the seat and look up under by the gas tank...way up top...if there is a hose there and it is kinked...unkink it! Mine was running fine one day and did the same exact thing. It must move on it's own. I rerouted mine out of the brackets that it was in and routed it through one of the airbox clamps down beside the airbox. hope this helps

sounds like to me that the switch on your p-brake may not be compressed all the way... it is fairly common prob with there cheesy perch switches.... I think that its the one twards the front on the bike on your clutch perch... you could have got your p-brake cable out of adjustment or something along that line... I am going to get rid of the p-brake soon befor I have any probs with those stupid switches...
Hope that pointed you in the right direction

Man it sounds like what happened to mine a week ago. I was ridin some trails to the local sand pit when from out of no where it started sputering and back fireing. The noise was identical to the sound of the rev limiter on the e-brake. I did a visual inspection of the bike and saw nothing out of order. needless to say the slow jerky ride back to my truck was heart breaking!!!
Anyway brought it back to the dealer and demanded it to be fixed. Turns out a small rock had found its way up the right carbs breather hose and was being sucked under the neddle every time I gave it gas. They said it prob. happened in a reverse rippout which the raptor is so known for.
well good luck

bypass the wires on your clutch perch! I put on a cr 250 perch and lever and had to, IT IS MOST DEFINITELY the wire, If I remember right take the plug out from the emergency brake at the perch and cut the wires (I think you eliminate it by breaking contact) do that and rev it, if it revs it's fixed... email me tomorrow if u need info..
