Need more info. Does it have a pipe? Whats your jetting? Any other mods? Has it always done this, started recently, happens once in a while? We can help ya more when we know more.

If it's backfiring flames on deceleration, it sounds like you've leaned out somehow. Check the intake rubber between the carb and the head. Also check for any other air leaks that could be letting extra air into the fuel mixture. On the flip side, if the fuel supply is being restricted somehow, a lean condition could also result.

What happens when you run with the choke on? This should richen the mixture and help confirm that the problem is indeed a lean condition.

My friends Raptor was blowing flames too. His head pipe had a crack in it somewhere. Maybe look for some kind of leak??

If the quad was not rejetted after putting on the exhaust, you are to lean! If it has run fine with that setup in the past then you likely have another problem. Does the problem clear up or get better if you run with the choke on? If so, I would look for an exhaust leak, possibly right where the header attaches to the engine. Also check the rubber intake boot like mentioned above.
