Default raptor with too much oil

i rode my 02 raptor for about five minutes, then let it sit for a while. then i checked the oil, and it was low. i drove back checked it again, still low. i added some, went riding, and when i came back checked it again. it was all the way to the top of the can(way too much). what is causing this? is it normal?

Default raptor with too much oil

This happened to me the first time i changed the oil on my raptor. The oil was getting stuck in the resovoir. If i were you, Drain all the oil. Then open the resovoir line and drain the oil from their also. Then Open The oil filter and let any oil in their drain, drain everything. Close everything, Put in one and a half quarts of oil. Start the bike for 20-25 seconds revving it a bit. (this is to let it circulate through the resovoir the get an accurate reading of the oil) Shut it off, check the oil, add another quart. Start the bike (remember level surface) check the oil i forget how many quartz it is but there you go.
Hope that helps.
