250 handle 25" tires?

250 handle 25" tires?
Got a question, when I get some new tires and rims I was thinking of giving mine to my wife. She has a 06 bruin 250 I believe 22 or 23" tires. Its a 5 spd, will the bigger tires be something that quad can handle w/o a clutch kit or anything? Will it lose alot of power?
