I've been looking for any clues what the 2007 model year will bring and here are the rumors I"ve heard on forums, no new grizzly, a new banshee with the phazer snowmobile engine, a new blaster with half a new phazer snowmobile engine or a YZ 250 F motor, a liquid cooled 500cc big bear with a semi manual tranny, and the dealer today said they think there'll be a new YFZ 450 EFI thats wide like the LTR. These are the rumors I've read about, most of its probably day dreaming but I guess we'll find out sunday night.

I bet that we see a new big utility quad; not to replace the griz; but in addition too ... this would explain the "conflicting" rumors ...

Hopefully there are more function specific 450's ... though I doubt it.

All I know is that I have been considering a new Grizz for a long time now. And, I have decided to wait to see what Yamaha brings out for 2007 before I buy a new quad. I like the Kawasaki BF 650i, but it is now out of the question since Kawasaki did not release it for 2007 with EFI. Hell, they do not even have a single ute quad with EFI. Nearly all of Polaris's machines have it though. None of Yamaha's ute quads have it, either. But, one thing is for certain..............if Sunday night rolls around and there is no new 2007 Grizz WITH EFI being shown on their website, then it is "so long Yamaha" for me and I will definitely be going with a new Rincon as a result (maybe a new Can-AM Outty 650).

Why do I want EFI so bad? Simple........I will be riding at elevations that range from about 500' to over 7,000' MSL. And, ain't gonna have to worry about screwing around with no damn carb because of it.

Suzuki has an EFI big bore. Honda has an EFI big bore. Can-Am has EFI big bores. Polaris has EFI big bores. AC now has an EFI big bore. Yamaha (and Kawasaki) need to get their heads out of their a**es and get with the program, too! Hopefully, this coming Sunday evening, Yamaha won't let us all down just like Kawasaki did a week or so ago...

I for one am anxiously awaiting the release of 2007 Yamaha atvs. Some of these comments about how they
heard no new Griz! Well there is a theory that it is being replaced with a new quad. This could be what we
are waiting for. consider this: A quad with EFi, and 800 engine, tires that are 27 or 28 inches to start, and
you don't have to add a clutch kit to make it run properly. Strong axles that don't pop out of the rear end
like some Grizz's do, a better coolant system so that the quad runs cool all the time, put it out as a single
rider and 2up, with colors consistent with what we have now. I'd be interested. Oh give it some new name
that is befitting like Enraged Griz, or something.

If not well, I will go to my second choice, the 2007 outlander max xt.

Please Yamaha come through for me.

I'm buying a new atv, my choice today will be 800 max too, but I always liked yamahas engines and finish.
Would like to see a liteturbocharged 2-seater, light, kick + electricstarted, streetlegal machine. Then it would be a good competitor to the outlander max
