Well I talked to a salesman today ( the one that sold me my quad) and he said that the rep wouldn't say what the new quad was but it is not a grizz.....he said it is another BIG BORE....so we will see.....

 

If yamaha does not come out with a 700EFI grizz I will be very mad. I read an article that someone got invited to ride yamahas new utillity quad and the man thinks it is going to be a new grizz 700EFI. But we will wait and see. I think yamaha will come out with the grizz 700EFI because If yamaha makes a 700 raptor and the sport page says no more raptor 660 then yamaha will make the 700EFI

 

now i dont no it htier truth behind this or not but i was at the dealership the other day iand i heard the salemen talkin about a new 525cc sport quad

 

How did you hear that the 07 models will be on 12 tonite

 

Umm. Thats just usually when they do it. Polaris does it that way. Honda does too. So im guessing since it says website will be updated on the 25th, then that means RIGHT when it hits the 25th, which is 12:00. Anyways thats just what i think. Nonetheless we will find out in 3hrs and 45min (central time).

A few months ago I picked up a paper and it had an advertisement for a local Yamaha dealer in it. They had a Grizzly 700 advertised, and a Raptor 450. The raptor 450 looked an awful lot like a YZF. I am sure these were just misprints, but it would be kinda funny if there were Grizzly 700's coming out. And if the YZF turned into the Raptor 450.

 

EwWwWwww.. I despise Yamaha already for calling 20 of their machines "Raptor's" the LAST thing they need is another 1. Have a different name please. I do like the part of a 700 Grizz though.

 

ok im confused. yamahas posting the 07 utility quads tonight at 12 or is it still tomorrow night at 9pm

 

It's will be posted tomorrow Sunday the 25th at 9pm Pacific which will be midnight on the east coast. It will not be tonight.

 

I've been hearing that it is going to be a big bore efi and could be in the 800 range, strictly rumors my guess it will be a 700 with efi.
I did here from a guy that heard from a guy that knows someone in Utah that has been test riding the new machine and the word out was it was real nice. There was no mention of efi or cc's from the test rider. He would only say it was very nice. Being test rode in Utah I bet it will at least have efi with the varied elevations.
